The Lord's Prayer

"..for your Father knows what you need, before you ask Him. Pray, then, in this way:

(In the Name of the Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit)

'Our Father who art in heaven,
Hallowed by Thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive our trespasses as we
forgive those who trespassed against us.
Lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.'

(I pray this in the name of Jesus...)

Amen

Matthew 6:8-13

Thank you Stacey for setting up your blog and sharing it with all of us.

I am with you on the Lord's Prayer.

Here are some verses I have read every night for years now, Psalms 100. Sometimes I go on to read Psalms 101.
I always have peace after I read these.

Psalm 100
A psalm. For giving thanks.

1. Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.

2. Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.

3. Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his ;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

4. Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.

5. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues
through all generations.

Tis the season for such a powerful and positive prayer, Kathy. I don't think I've read that one before. I hope God doesn't mind my out of tune singing voice!
